Pray Gather (hereinafter "Service") values users' personal information and complies with the Personal Information Protection Act. This Privacy Policy explains how the personal information you provide is used and what measures are taken to protect your personal information.

1. Purpose of Processing Personal Information

The Service processes personal information for the following purposes. Personal information collected will not be used for purposes other than those listed below. If the purpose changes, we will obtain separate consent and take necessary measures.

2. Personal Information Collected

A. Required Information

• Email address: Member identification, login, important announcements• Nickname (display name): User identification and display within the service• Password: Member account protection

B. Information Collected During Service Use

• Prayer request content: Intercessory prayer service provision• Service usage records: Service improvement and statistical analysis• IP address: Prevention of fraudulent use and service stability• Device information: Optimized service provision

C. Sensitive Information

Prayer requests may contain sensitive information such as health status and religious beliefs. The Service processes such sensitive information solely for the purpose of providing intercessory prayer services, with the explicit consent of the user. Sensitive information is encrypted and stored securely.

3. Retention and Use Period

Personal information is destroyed without delay when the purpose of collection and use has been achieved.

• Member information: Until membership withdrawal• Prayer requests: Upon author's deletion request or membership withdrawal• All information is immediately deleted upon withdrawal

However, if required by relevant laws, information will be retained for the period specified by such laws.

4. Third-Party Disclosure

The Service does not provide personal information to third parties as a general rule. However, the following are exceptions:

• When the user has given prior consent• When required by law or when requested by investigative agencies following legal procedures

5. Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing

The Service outsources personal information processing as follows for smooth service provision:

• Supabase: Data storage and server operation, authentication service• Vercel: Web service hosting• Resend: Email delivery service• Google/Kakao: Social login service

6. Rights of Data Subjects

Users may exercise the following rights as data subjects:

• In-app settings: Modify or withdraw directly in Settings > Account Management• Email request: praygather@gmail.com

Rights may be exercised in writing, by email, etc., and the Service will take action without delay.

7. Destruction Procedures and Methods

The Service destroys personal information without delay when it is no longer needed, such as when the retention period has expired or the processing purpose has been achieved.

A. Destruction Procedure

Information entered by users is transferred to a separate DB after achieving its purpose and destroyed after a certain period according to internal policies and relevant laws, or immediately.

B. Destruction Method

• Electronic files: Deleted using technical methods that prevent record regeneration• Paper documents: Shredded or incinerated

8. Security Measures

The Service takes the following measures to ensure the security of personal information:

• Personal information encryption: Passwords and sensitive information are encrypted for storage and management• Access restriction: Access to personal information is limited to minimum personnel• Security programs: Technical measures against hacking, etc.

10. Changes to Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is effective from the effective date. If there are additions, deletions, or corrections due to changes in laws or policies, we will notify you through announcements 7 days before the changes take effect.
